Sashko Protyah – a residency
Between April 30th and May 21st 2024 we have hosted Sashko Protyah of Freefilmers at a residency in Rotterdam. Sashko came to Rotterdam to work on the editing of his new film “Songs about the war”. During his stay we hosted a session of feedback about his work in progress at WET with Rotterdam-based filmmakers and artists. We also organised a bunch of events together, screening new Freefilmers’ films, presenting their new publication “Zamotka” and raising donations to Medychka fundraiser with events in Warsaw (Słonecznik), Berlin (Feminist Translocalities) and Enschede (Tankstation).
